The purpose of the consultation is the design and construction of two silo parking buildings, for the RENAULT group, on the brand’s Techno-center site in Guyancourt. The objective is to increase the number of parking spaces by 200 spaces and 800 spaces respectively on two separate sites: ‘la Fosse au Loup’ and le pré clos ’.
The first project concerns the ‘Fosse au Loup’ site: access is from the east of the TCR, from Avenue de l’Europe. The environment close to the site is made up of a set of workshop-type buildings whose users are mainly employees or service providers of the center.
The building is located on top of the existing surface car park, and takes place at the northern edge of the plot to facilitate pedestrian access to the covered passage leading to the TCR. The integration of the project into the existing context will be done without disturbing the trees and existing vegetation; Likewise, the overall traffic pattern (see flow analysis diagram) and the location of parking spaces for electric vehicles remain unchanged.
The car park is organized over 2 floors (R to R + 2) around a central double ramp. The aisles are mostly one-way, with traffic in a counterclockwise direction.
The pedestrian flow goes naturally towards a stairwell with elevator located at the North / East corner of the building, leading to the ground floor as close as possible to the covered gallery leading to the TCR. A second circular staircase located on the west facade completes this device in order to meet safety requirements.
The total capacity of the building is 332 parking spaces, ie 207 more spaces than the existing situation (125 spaces currently on the right-of-way of the planned building). This total includes 8 places accessible to PRMs, and 16 for electric vehicles (extension of 38 additional places possible)
